When I read a book, I fold page corners.
If something shouts out at me, Iā??ll fold a corner. When I come across something that I donā??t want to forget, Iā??ll fold a corner. Iā??ll review these pages again and again as I continue reading. And then, when I finish reading the book, I always flip through the pages and read the pages with folded corners again.
So hereā??s my idea. When I finally put the book down, Iā??ll go through it once again for you. Iā??ll point out the passages that are worthy of a folded corner. Because, hey, you can read a book review anywhere ā?? but how many times can you actually get into some of the meat from the book?
Some books will have more highlights than others depending on two things:
1. How far back I read the book. The more books I read, the more corners I find myself folding.
2. Actual meat. Some books just speak to me more than others. Itā??s a pretty subjective thing.
Letā??s give it a go and see how this series evolves. (Starting with the very next post.)
