Some odds and ends to think about while waiting for a Monday.
? Last weekend was a blur as I worked to complete my Age of Conversation submission. I want to personally thank Drew and Gavin for their hard work putting this unbelievable ebook concept together. Proceeds from the book will go to Variety the Children??s Charity and book is being dedicated to Sandra Kerley, CK??s mom. You can??t beat that combination. More news as the book release approaches.
? When will a cell phone service provider start offering a Twitter package? Unlimited text messaging for $X/month for heavy Twitter users. Maybe there aren??t that many heavy users to merit such a plan, but what better way for a service provider to essentially say, ??Hey, we??re paying attention, we know what??s out there.?
? Speaking of Twitter, I??ve activated an account (follow me here) but have been having problems getting my text message updates. Any other Canadian users having the same problem? I had a discussion with Twitter??s Jack Dorsey about the problem and was told that they are having some problems with Canadian users. Just curious is you??re one of them too.
? Started using Facebook a couple of weeks ago. I??m addicted. I love that I??ve reconnected with some old friends, including Gary Cohen, an old school buddy who runs thebaseballcube.com. His site has a traffic rank of just under 40,000, according to Alexa. So it was not only nice to find him again on a personal level, but hopefully I can pick his brain on a professional level as well.
? The guy who pushed me into Facebook, Warren Wilansky, is also an old friend. We reconnected recently, too, thanks to social media. Actually, he??s been reading my blog for a while and then, one day, left a comment. A couple of emails later and we??re having lunch. Warren runs a web development company here in town called Plank Design. He??s got an impressive client roster and his team has started blogging. Keep an eye on things there, Warren??s a great guy and seems to have a great thing going.
? Matt Dickman??s guest post (just below this post, actually) the other day really hit a nerve and spurred quite a discussion. You can read some of the related discussion at these blogs: Bad Idea, Indeed; Cloudy Thinking; Servant of Chaos. Thanks for picking up on Matt??s thoughts and furthering the conversation.
That??s it, that??s all. Talk soon.

Good clients? I agree with you on that. I also have a great team. Great guy? That’s debatable.
:)
Thanks for the shout-out.
