The Year of Blogger Social

Happy New Year, everyone.

We’ve got a lot to look forward to this year, including the event many of us have been waiting for â?? Blogger Social, which is for “Marketing bloggers, be they focused on marketing, media, PR, advertising, user experience, social media or otherwise.”

All these fine folks in the video? They’re going to make time to make it to NYC the first weekend in April to hang out with so many of the people they’ve already met online.

If you haven’t signed up yet, you still have time. The deadline is February 15, so you’d better act fast. (How’s that for a traditional call to action to this non-traditional event?) But only if you want to meet all these great marketers and pick their brains over three days:

Susan Bird Tim Brunelle Katie Chatfield Terry Dagrosa Matt Dickman Luc Debaisieux Gianandrea Facchini Mark Goren Gavin Heaton Sean Howard CK Valeria Maltoni Drew McLellan Doug Meacham Marilyn Pratt Steve Roesler Greg Verdino CB Whittemore Steve Woodruff Paul McEnany Ann Handley David Reich Tangerine Toad Kristin Gorski Mack Collier David Armano Ryan Barrett Lori Magno Tim McHale Gene DeWitt Mario Vellandi Arun Rajagopal Darryl Ohrt Joseph Jaffe Rohit Bhargava Anna Farmery Marianne Richmond Thomas Clifford Lewis Green Geoff Livingston Kris Hoet Connie Reece CeCe Lee Jonathan Trenn Toby Bloomberg Seni Thomas

Special mention goes to Matt, Kris, C.B., Luc, Drew, Gavin and CK for all the help getting the pictures and graphics together for the video, as well as for helping choose the music. Looking forward to hanging out with y’all in April!

90 days to go. Really hope you’re going to be there too!

    Hello Mark:
Fabulous job on the video! I’m going to pick some tips on creating such magic when I meet you at BS. Btw, it’s pure coincidence that both of us branded 2008 as the year of the blogger social and blogged about it almost the same time. I think it’s too cool. One more example of how ‘great minds think & blog alike’. Have an amazing 2008!
    Arun

  2. Mark Says:

    Thanks, Arun!

I think it’s amazing that you’re going to travel all this way to be in NYC come April. Yours is a pretty powerful example of what it truly means to be a part of a community.

See you in the Big Apple!

  5. Mark Says:

Not much to it, guys. Just upload a couple of pictures, choose a song and let Animoto do the rest!

That’s our session for today. (Now we can use our time in NYC for some real fun!!)

  6. Kris Hoet Says:
