A delightful story made the front page of The Gazette (Montreal) this morning. Montreal native Hanna Tennenhaus, a grandmother to 16 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren, has become a YouTube star after her grandson posted her New Year??s greeting.
As of this writing, her video was viewed 177,571 times, commented 688 times and favourited 118 times. I just watched it ?? it really is sweet.
I just started reading Citizen Marketers this morning. On page ix, at the very bottom, the authors write:
??Widespread publishing and distribution of a cool idea, a new product, or a hot new animation was no longer the domain of big, traditional media. It was around this time, in November 2004 that the very idea of media itself was evolving into a two-way, three-way, and multiple-way ecosystem of gossip, ideas, news, and collaboration. Everyday people could be publishers and broadcasters and audience members.?
For 83-year old Montrealer Hanna Tennenhaus, this couldn??t be more accurate. Happy 2007, Hanna!
